                                                                    Life in the Fast Lane

                                                      Flip the switch, gas begins to flow,   
                                                      the pistons hard at work, the spark plugs glow, 
                                                      the clutch knows it’s job, the race mower proceeds,
                                                      the green flag is thrown, the ride begins to speed,
                                                      the tires throw the dirt, the driver has no fear,
                                                      racing down the track,  the corner now appears,
                                                      the brakes will be used, the tires start to grip,
                                                      no suspension to handle the abuse, as the mower begins to tip,
                                                      the driver opens the throttle , the finish line is near, 
                                                      the driver hears,  the grinding of the gears, 
                                                      the crowd cheers,  but the driver knows, as the checkered flag appears
                                                      His victory has disappeared !
